Your Podcast Studio automatically generates a cloud recording of your episode, which is used for your full episode videos. Additionally, it captures a High Definition Local Recording from both you and your guest speaker to ensure the highest quality.

How the Local Recording Works:

  1. End Episode and Start Upload: Once you click "End Episode," a progress bar at the top of your screen will begin uploading your local video file. This progress bar ensures that your recording is safely being transferred.

2. Saving Your File Locally: A popup modal will appear, prompting you to save the local recording file to your device. Click "OK," and a file dialog will open, allowing you to choose where to save the file.

Guest Recording: Your guest will experience the same process. It's a good idea to inform your guest at the start of the episode to keep their browser window open until the upload is done.

Keeping Your Browser Open: It’s essential to keep your browser window open until the upload is complete. The progress bar at the top will indicate "Completed" once the upload is finished.

Even if you stay in the lobby to chat with your guest after the episode, the upload will continue in the background. If you exit the studio, the upload will proceed from the Exit Page as well.

Important: Closing the browser before the upload finishes will disrupt the process.

What Happens if the Browser is Closed Too Soon? If you or your guest closes the browser window before the upload is complete, you will receive an email within the next 30 minutes, prompting you to upload the local recording manually.

Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to upload the saved local file from your laptop.

By following these steps, you ensure that your high-definition recordings are safely saved and uploaded, guaranteeing the best quality for your podcast episodes.
